Information Technology Services (ITS) is the backbone of technology for the City of Phoenix, providing innovative, reliable, and secure IT solutions that empower 41 city departments to deliver exceptional public services to 1.7 million residents. Every day, ITS ensures that critical city systems function seamlessly—from servers, storage, and identity management to email, network communications, and cybersecurity. The department also maintains vital public safety radio systems, enterprise web applications, and databases, supporting the technology needs of more than 16,000 city employees.

When city employees need IT assistance, ITS serves as their one-stop shop, providing expert support through its Enterprise Service Desk and in-person services. Beyond day-to-day operations, ITS leads key initiatives, including data privacy programs, IT strategic planning, while leading project management for large IT projects—ensuring the city’s technology landscape remains resilient, efficient, and forward-thinking.
