The Phoenix Police Bias Crimes Detail investigates any bias-related crimes incident which occurs. A bias crime is any crime that occurs, in whole or in part, as a result of a prejudice or bias toward an individual or group based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.
The effectiveness of the Bias Crimes Detail is dependent upon the trust and relationships we build with the communities we serve. Presentations can be conducted on either topic.
